It clears my head so I can let go of all the noise...
What are/were your health goals?
To regain my muscle tone and strength after baby girl number two graced us with her presence. I was feeling good, but wanted to feel better...a little less soft and more “tight” or “firm” in the musculature sense.
What has fitness done for your well being?
It clears my head so I can let go of all the noise, it allows me to make better food choices throughout the week (especially those after dinner snacks!), it allows me to sweat out my anxieties, it grants me the opportunities to push myself both physically and mentally in the best possible way, and it affords me a community of like-minded mamas who are also trying their best at this whole motherhood thing.
What is your proudest accomplishment so far in your Personal Fitness story?
There are many...but if I must choose one it is the feeling I have every, single, morning when I get out of bed: I feel happy and so so confident in myself, my body and my mind, that every day has a great start and, consequently, every day is awesome.
If there was one thing you would tell someone thinking about starting their Transformation Story, what advice would you give them?
Try one workout, and push yourself, just a little bit, within that workout. You can feel the difference a workout has on your body and your mind after one sweat session. You will likely never look back.
